Welcome to Pentax User Forums. Feel free to ask away, there is a wealth of knowledge on this site. Nice to have another person from sunny Suffolk, especially with a K10 and but then I have a bias.

Well I didn`t get a second delivery LOL. Have to wait for the adaptor. The lens came complete with filters etc but no instruction book. There are white lines scribed on the fixed barrel.The rotating section presumably lines up with one or other of them but which and why. Would welcome some advice please.

Sorry Stu, very kind offer but there`s stuff on the drive which was created by other family members. They don`t want it anymore but it could be considered sensitive.

I have a K10 and a K20 and would not part with either. K20 produces slightly darker images and has a much smoother shutter action. I don`t have any particular issues with noise but try to use below 800. I like the solid feel and the rugged construction, they fit my hand just right. Oh yes, the colour imagery is stunning. I had a day out with a pro guy and he was well impressed with the rendition of colour.

Placed the order on e bay on Sunday. Here I am sitting with laptop on me knees and a Tamron 500 f8 mirror lens sitting beside me in a smashing black leather case (ideal for sarnies and a can of pop when the lens is on a camera). Just waiting on postie for the Pentax adaptor. Wonder if I`l get a second delivery after 7?????

Pentax cable remote, I thought it was a must have but I also use the 2 second timer.

Thanks folk for your advice. Think I might give in and send it to the unhappy drive bay in the council yard! Especially as I have another lens on the way which I am sure will beg me to lavish hours of devotion and many shutter clicks.

First class one that! As an aside the woods by our house are loaded with cyrils. I know they are v....n but they give hours of entertainment especially when they scrap. LOL
