Hot shoe spirit level (the little digital one) - I used it once in two years on my K200D then upgraded to a K-7 and didn't need it anymore. It's probably still floating around in my kit bag somewhere

Pentax cable remote, I thought it was a must have but I also use the 2 second timer.

Also a hot shoe spirit level - but then a plastic cube thingy. Never ever used it, and now with the K5 I never will.

Battery grip. Nothing wrong with it, just an impulse buy that I didn't get on with at all.

panamatic tripod attachment+hot shoe spirit level-both never used.I also use 2 sec timer instead of cable remote.

Probably the table tripod out of Jessops. Refuses to stay still even with the world's lightest camera.

Raynox Macro adapter lens.
Bought and then got much better lenses shortly after. Was good for use on the kit lens and 50-200 but I didn't use them long.

Another one for the battery grip which is in it's box somewhere, though I also bought a larger than I needed polarizer with step down rings so that it would fit on all my lenses only to find that once the step down rings were on they fit so tight I could never get them off again

Strange, I swear that the Raynox 250 adapter did not add to the magnification of the Tamron 90mm macro...Tyr wrote:

Just did a quick test, makes it focus very close and adds more magnification. Can't use it with the AF160FC though
Still don't know if me or my wife will use it though.

I have always preferred my camera with the grip. I took it of for a couple of weeks to lighten my kit but found myself missing it. When I put it back on it was so much more comfortable to use.

I'd go with a Gorillapod - it worried me senseless everytime I used it as I just imagined the camera collapsing to the floor, quickly sold it on.
I must admit to finding both my digital hot shoe level and cable release very useful

I'll start off with the Pentax Wireless remote. Not a bad product, I just found myself not bothering to get it out of my bag/grip, and relied largely on the camera's timed release instead..
