Very nice indeed, too hard to pick my favourite as all are very good.

A fine set Carl, I like the train shots (8&3) as well as the portraits.

Shame the hat has been clipped in 1. In no 7 I'd crop a bit tighter and remove some of the dead space at the top, but that's just my preference.

You've inspired me to dig out my Sigma 50-150 this weekend !

Another fine set, the first one does appear to show some jagged edges around the tyres which may be over sharpening.

Agree with Russ re 3 & 6 being my favs as well.

Very nice Simon,

4 (glad he wasn't hurt) and 7 are my picks, but all really good. Like the flame on 2 as well.

Hi Percy,

I like the composition from the cropping you've done in 2 but feel its too grainy / noisy to work well in colour, may be worth converting to B&W and tinkering with the levels to see what it comes out like.

No6 was a good battle between Jordan and Plato, maybe cropped too tightly.

8 & 9 are my favourites, I quite like the dust in 9 as it adds to the sense of movement.

The WR 55-300 would be nice if not too costly.

Thanks for the comments, it was an enjoyable day.

Love #10... and #5 is a very rare shot of Jason Plato not hitting someone...
I was trying to get a shot like 10 and this was the only one where the cars fell into place, quite a few deletions. One of the few shots that is better from the stands than in front of the fence due to the raised position.

Plato was reasonably well behaved on the track, there was a bit of agro between Neal and Tordoff in the last race with Neal 'allegedly' forcing Tordoff off.

What a great set - love 9 (is that Tim Harvey in a relaxed moment or just a look-a-like?) & 10; also 13 (although I probably shouldn't!)

Must be a look-a-like, these were the Dunlop tyre fitters having a break. No 13 is just energy drink samples being handed out.

Few shots from the British Touring Cars at Silverstone. Nice to meet fellow Pentax users Mike (Petrochemist) and Percy (Percy).
