Hi Percy,
I like the composition from the cropping you've done in 2 but feel its too grainy / noisy to work well in colour, may be worth converting to B&W and tinkering with the levels to see what it comes out like.
No6 was a good battle between Jordan and Plato, maybe cropped too tightly.
8 & 9 are my favourites, I quite like the dust in 9 as it adds to the sense of movement.

Thanks for the comments George - any advice is much appreciated.
Jordan and Plato was a good battle. It's cropped that tightly because I've got nothing more to the left of the frame, and there were other elements in the picture that I thought were distracting. I did wonder whether a crop like this might work better

Here is no.2 as a B&W (without too much work being done to it). I think you're right - it does work better in B&W, but although I quite liked the subject I think it's beyond reasonable salvage really!
