Thanks for all our replies and usefull information. I have looked on the web in an attempt to find out a little more about the Benro pods. They do look good value for money. Thinking about the M228n6 and the KS1 head. Would this be a good all round package or would you think it to be to light?

I have recently purchased the K20. After some good advice from the forum I have purchaes the 200aw sling case. Now I want to purchase a good tripod suitable for use with the K20, I am very confused by the many that are available on the market. I would like it easy to lug about with me. Can any of you more exspeenced guys recomend a good one.

I am glad beginer has sorted out his problems.
As a novice I need some help finding my way around the K20 or any DSLR. I have the supplied k20 manual but could anybody recomend a good book or truition dvd that would help me learn how to use the camera.
I am very thankfull of all the advice all of you have given to me in this forum

Your coments are incouraging.I am a novice also and I have tended to use the auto settings on my orther cameras. I have a lot to learn and must spend some time with the manual and camera.

Thanks for all your help. I will spend some time over the weekend trying things out. It could just be that I am not using the right settings. I think I will get out the manual and try and look at the sharpness settings etc in the menu. Dont be suprised to see another thread over the weekend maybe with some better shots if I can work out how to send them with a thread.

Looks like my photos are a desaster. I have a plain glass protective filter on the lense. Would the 16/45 DA lense preform better than the 15/55mk11?.
Do you think the 15/55 mk11 could be faulty? Or maybe it is the way I have taken them.
