Over the last few weeks Amason have been selling the GX20 twin lense kit for £716. A couple of evenings ago I started the ordering process on their web site. After I entered my credit card details and was about to press the order confirm button, my phone rang. When I retuned to my laptop a couple of miniutes later to complete the order the price had changed to £1,069.00.( a rise of 50%)
I emailed amason and then phoned them the next day. They said that Samsung had made a mistake with the price. I then looked at currys and dixons sites. They were still selling the same kit for £799.99. I was not keen on ordering it from either of them so I had another search on the web. After spending an hour on the webs and not finding it cheaper any where else I retuned to the currys and dixons site but to find that they both had increased their prices to £999.00. I phoned currys to try to find out what was going on but they were not prepared to give me a reason for the massive rises. I re-checked the Amason site and they have now changed it to £999.99 also. It looks as though there could be a bit of price fixing.

I was only going for the samsung due to the price difference but by not ordering it quickly, and dithering, it has cost me about £300. I have now decided to buy the K20 as it is the same price, but has a very good name.
I am new to pentax kit, has the Pentax better spec. ?

I found a cheap battery D 150 1750mah on amazon for a little over £6.00.
I have ordered one and will report back when it arives
