1)Pentax DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 virtually new. never used apart from a few shots for testing. only a little wear on the original box. to be supplied with all accessories. 580GBP including postage within UK(919 GBP at SRS),

How old is your DA*50-135? Did you buy it from SRS? so a perspective buyer would have the warranty transferred?

And may I ask the reason you are selling it?

And is that the picture of the lens? Any chance of seeing it from different angles as well please?

Thanks
the pictures are only for the pentax F 24-50mm f/4 to show the condition, as it's well used.

The lens was not purchased from SRS, as i could not afford one at the currant price. i donot bother to put up a picture as i described it's ' virtually new' condition. i would do some shots if you seriouly want to buy. i bought two DA* to share one with a friend of mine, but he changed his mind to go after the new DA* 60-250mm so it left stayed on the shelf for a while, and delivered 2/3 times during this period, and therefore, the box is not as good as new. luckily, we are not losing much money at this price due to the recent pentax price increase.

I can offer a full refund if it's not like the condition described here as i always do.

AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought an A50/1.7 for my Dad on Tuesday from Ffordes - it turned up yesterday (quick delivery I'll give them that) and it had a broken aperture ring. I sent it back within the hour and asked for it to either be repaired or for my money to be refunded. Needless to say I haven't heard back yet...

If they can't fix it and nobody else has bought yours in the meantime then I'll have it in a heartbeat. I made the mistake of giving my Dad a Super-A body I picked up on Sunday - he's using my M50/1.7 at the moment but of course it doesn't have the A setting and he casually mentioned my FA43 on Monday so I need to distract him urgently!
I just posted a topic last month about my purchase from Fford. arguable condition described on their web, but eventually got the refund. i would never use them again.

The lens was purchased from Bristol Camera Ltd in Nov 2008, along with my K20D. Due to being given another lens and raising some money for DA*, I have to sell it now. it has produced some nice travelling photos for me, and is in nearly new condition. please refer to my ebay listing for price and more informationlink

I would accept an offer deducting the ebay fee if you would like to use bank transaction. i presume that you might have known about the price range if you are familiar with ebay trade. PM me to grab this bargain.

Writing up here with great disappointment. Ordered two lenses from Ffordes, Scotland. one of these is a SMC 135mm f/2.5 in M42, rated at'E+', which means 'sign of use'there and also some other stores. as i was told before, 'E+'is 'sign of use' but opticlly no damage and marks. back to theme. I found there was a small mark(2mm)on the front optic, felt like a scar when waping and cleaning. Then i called them and agreed to return it. the guy was very good and made appology. After the lens arrived the store, i called again to check the refund. i mentioned the waiste on the postage, and another people on phone blamed on me because he thinks i returned it because i did not like it, and insisted that the mark is also the 'sign of use' of the optics.......plus the lens was externally crab, but i repared to accept it if optics are fine.

They agreed to refund for the 'fauty' lens(have not checked my account), and waisted 7.50 + 5 pounds postage. Be careful with this seller, at least this SMC 135mm lens, which will be relisted on the stock list with a grade of 'E+'

this a rare copy of FA 43mm Ltd, which is made by pentax for Leica, a bit like 'OEM'. it's got very limited number and only produced for a short period time.
