I have loved my KS2 but i have the opportunity to sell it to a friend and upgrade. I stopped following cameras a few years ago and with a small baby at home i dont have lot of time to do some heavy research.

I love the size of the KS2, i could do with better specs.
I had my eyes on the KP but the price just went up for some unknown reason, the K70 is still available and much cheaper.
Or is there any other model (K3 etc..) that i should consider?

Thanks, it turns out I’ve found someone with a similar problem, I was given advice to put my camera in a sealed back full of rice, after 2 days it works again

Hello, I got absolutely soaked today in Iceland, as i got caught in bad weather during a trail - i was carrying my 5 months old baby and couldn’t care less for my DSLR which my wife carried - we had heavy wind and rain - like soaked to underwear level. I had a non WR lens on it.

When we arrived (safely) I noticed the red l light at the back (next to the screen) was on, even though the camera was “off”. Now the camera doesn’t turn on. I’ve dried the camera now and changed lens, it’s been a few hours and the camera shows the same problem. I’m now charging the battery hoping it will go away by tomorrow.

I’ve been googling this for one hour and can’t find anyone having this problem - I am actually not quite sure what to google.

Any ideas?
In the manual there is no reference to having that mini red light on when the camera is off.

hello, the K70 is 5 years old, and the KP 4 years old, I am still on the KS-2 and wondering what to upgrade to. I don't know if FF makes sense as i have mostly DA lenses (i think, can't even remember what i have).

Hey so after the suggestion to keep "both" (10-20 and 12-24), i haven't used the 12-24 even since I got the 10-20.

So BACK FOR SALE, BEST OFFER takes it - I need to sell fast, I'm based on Berlin now so need to check shipping to UK but can cover that (depending on the offer ) - i do have a UK paypal account still. I can also ship to EU and payment in euros.

Price I don't know, it seems they have gone down, did a search on the forum and couldn't find any one being sold, new price is not indicative as they are at 800 quid @ SRS.

hey, well i used to own the 10-20 and loved it, just found another copy (waiting for it to arrive), but cant justify keeping both (actually should really do a clean up and sell my stuff as i take rarely pics)

Selling or swapping the 12-24mm, it's not wide enough for me :/
I think I have the box etc.. it's in very good condition (i'll take pics of it at some point).

Interested in the Sigmas 10-20mm F4-5.6 which I used to own and love, or the 8-16mm which has average reviews but i am interested to see what the extra 2mm bring.

Was hoping to get around 380 for the 12-24mm.

The 10-20 seems to be around 220, the 8-16 i havent seen for sale for awhile so not sure.
