Pentax 12-24mm F4 / maybe swap with 10-20

Selling or swapping the 12-24mm, it's not wide enough for me :/
I think I have the box etc.. it's in very good condition (i'll take pics of it at some point).

Interested in the Sigmas 10-20mm F4-5.6 which I used to own and love, or the 8-16mm which has average reviews but i am interested to see what the extra 2mm bring.

Was hoping to get around 380 for the 12-24mm.

The 10-20 seems to be around 220, the 8-16 i havent seen for sale for awhile so not sure.

Suggest you keep both until you've compared them in case you actually prefer the 12-24. I was a bit disappointed with the 10-20 and for most purposes the 12-24 is just great.
FWIW I found the 8-16 image quality was better than the 10-20 too but for many subjects is too wide with unnatural looking edges.
My issue with the 10-20 is heavy vignetting which while it can be PP'd out, it really shouldn't have to be! No such issue with the 12-24 as I'm sure you're aware.

hey, well i used to own the 10-20 and loved it, just found another copy (waiting for it to arrive), but cant justify keeping both (actually should really do a clean up and sell my stuff as i take rarely pics)

Looks like I can’t find the box - lens is in very good condition, the petal hood has some scratches

If you'd still consider a swap, I have a Sigma 10-20 f3.5 HSM I'd part with in trade. Practically brand new and I can include a Firecrest CPL and Irix Edge ND128 ND Filter

Hey so after the suggestion to keep "both" (10-20 and 12-24), i haven't used the 12-24 even since I got the 10-20.

So BACK FOR SALE, BEST OFFER takes it - I need to sell fast, I'm based on Berlin now so need to check shipping to UK but can cover that (depending on the offer ) - i do have a UK paypal account still. I can also ship to EU and payment in euros.

Price I don't know, it seems they have gone down, did a search on the forum and couldn't find any one being sold, new price is not indicative as they are at 800 quid @ SRS.

It wasn't a suggestion to keep both but to keep it until you'd tried the 10-20. I much prefer the Pentax 12-24 along with the Sigma 8-16 to the Sigma 10-20 (original version which seems to suffer awful vignetting.)
