ME Super - I did consider getting a spares or repairs but figured the plate might be as bad. Can you get new-ish ones with certainty anywhere?

This time tho' it is two different cameras(and both very previously-well-loved at that) and two different film processors, so the law of averages says it's prob the cameras....

and, yes, I have found a couple of 'burrs' on the plate since.

The answer MIGHT be a bit of emery paper, and a bit of Humbrol matt paint (plus a bit of lighter fluid for the rollers...) - but I've never tried this before, and thought I'd check around first!

Anyone got any 'old-pressure-plate-smoothing-regimes', hints, tips and/or magic potions to stop the film getting horizontally scratched as it goes through the camera? Emery paper? paint?

Anyone got any theories around noise levels and/or fringing on the K10?

I just notice it from time to time - particularly blue skies.
I usually use ISO100, no exceptional apertures (f8-22)

Lenses are a mix of full frame Sigma EX and Pentax M so shouldn't be them.

Maybe it's me, but comments appreciated.

Similar question, so sorry if I missed something.

I have been an 'available light person' so new to this, and soft-light, macro would prob be first on the list, so off-shoe flash is the option.

I use an ME Super, an MZ5N and a K10.
Would the F cord and the standard two end pieces do the job for all of these?
I also have a rather vintage Miranda multi dedicated 500CD, or a Vivitar Auto Thyristor 550FD to choose from currently, but would purchase a better alternative if these are no brainers.... suggestions welcome - as mentioned, a new departure for me

Mifsuds was right - 67 WLF 'Asahi Pentax' does fit the much later 67ii

I've taken a flyer on this and bought a WLF from Mifsuds (10 day return, 3 months g'tee). They think it fits - nice people - but I'll feed back when I get it.....

Trying not to get into the film v digital discussion ) but I use both for different things - those 6x7 negs are just amazing. Wouldn't mind betting my ME and P67 will be working long after my K10 has been replaced by a K30 (40, 50, ...).
'Lee (Frost) the Luddite' has now gone digital, but Andy Rouse has picked up his Pentax 645 again.... but that's a different string

I am in search of a Folding WLF for a Pentax 67ii. They are difficult to find, especially as Jessops 'had one on order' for me for a month and then decided they didn't actually deal with them anymore (

So first question - if I can find any FWLF (6x7, 67 or 67ii) is it going to fit my 67ii?
Second question - anyone know where I could get one?
Third vaguely related question - I have a Seagull Angle Finder. Would a Nikon F5 eyepiece adaptor fit my P67ii? (This was of course the Seagull adaptor I didn't buy, but I thought I'd ask the question before I tried!

I'm finding using a backpack a bit of a pain - on, off, unzip, change mind, (same thing in reverse), walk on.
I've come to the conclusion the answer is a small bag for a couple of spare lenses, filters, space to throw lens caps, etc etc PLUS another small bag for the camera itself with lens attached.
This would mean you can walk with a bag each side (so you don't walk around in circles...) while still reaching everything easily.

However the P67 with prism is not a small camera.
Anyone know of a 'small' bag that takes the P67 and prism with a short lens (45mm?), face down? (I don't fit the 'spade handle' as I always use a tripod).
Or anyone got any better ideas? (I have considered Sherpas already...)
