Set a lens to F22 and take a shot of a piece of white card...or a clean white wall....then you will see if it's worked!...good luck!

[quote:3496ace15f="dannyh"]Well to clarify its definately on the sensor (I dont understand though how it DOESENT show up in the dust alert picture). It shows up in my pics. And there is also stubborn dust on the mirror! I'm going to try a hairdryer on cold to see if i can blow it out.....wish me

Just use auto focus!...and centre focussing!....get the red square on the subject and Bob's your uncle!.I never use manual focus on birds...my eyesight isn't the best and they dont stay still for very long!...I always seem to get away with it!

ps...If you are going to manual focus, make sure the diopter is set right!
pps...How much do you want for your eye cup?...

You dont want to be stuck with a fixed focal length....the 60 /250 has very good reviews, also gives you a greater range than the 70/200!...a lens I know very little about. The 60/250,although being F4,linked with the K5 should prove no problem at all!....good luck with your choice!....Ken
