Hello folk!....I've just had a friend of mine on the phone and they have a lens for me if I want it!.........she says it is a pentax 70/135 1.4,,,could this be right?.......................would fill in a nice gap as it comes with a pentax 2x converter..........any help would be appreciated!....,,,,,,,Ken

It may be a silly question but is there a great deal of difference in the quality of the shots,I've gone back to the kit lens as I cant afford a short lens at the moment and I was suprised at the outcome!,,,I am not very far up the learning curve but I achieved some excellent results. One shot in particular won me my first ever Photography competition!,,,photo of the week on a rather large photo blog,I was chuffed to bits...so could someone tell me why the 16/45 is the must have lens....thanks very much for taking the time to read this!..................Ken

I've only got the Tamron 200/500 6.9 but it weighs a ton!....I solved the problem of nose diving by using an anglers adjustable bank stick with a silicon tubed rod rest on top!.........£5.95 and it works a treat!...........

Thank you George,,,I have just bought a Tamron 90mm,,which is giving me some reasonable results,would tubes allow me to get even better magnification?,,,sorry to sound so stupid but we all have to learn somehow!..lol///////////////////////Ken

I have just moved into the world of Macro photography and wondered if someone could explain in plain easy to understand language the effect extension tubes have on a lens and subsequent shot!,,,,thanks,,,,Ken

Thank you for all this information,,and here's me thinking it was going to be relativley easy,,,,,,Iwas wrong wasn't I!..lol...I will digest it all and get back to you.First stop the lens shop..the only wide angle lens I have is a Hoya HMC 28MM!..............THANKS AGAIN Ken.

Hello its me!...trouble that is..lol.....
I am working my way through Photography at a snails pace ,I want to enter the world of landscape photography and my efforts so far are poor to say the least!. I seek to achieve the kind of shot featured in mags and on websites where the whole of the pic from back to front is in focus.What sort of lens do I need and is it going to cost me an arm and 2 legs?....I am the proud owner of a istds!,,,wonderful machine in the right hands,just a pity they aren't mine..lol.....HOPE YOU CAN HELP...THANKS....KEN P.
