Can anyone recommend a camera bag that I can put my DSLR in that doesn't look like a camera bag?

Something that doesn't scream 'I HAVE AN EXPENSIVE CAMERA INSIDE OF ME!'

Thanks.

I found it all just a bit stuffy
Those two were to a point they made me want to scream!

I'd Love to start one of my own but I like to attend one where I can learn a few more techniques, without being eyed up that I am going to be obnoxiouse whipper snapper.

I was about to say

I have a picture of it. I will do another one. I don't pay to enter the house of god as it's a donation and I am sure the almighty wouldn't mind me taking pictures of a clock. Glad they stopped it chiming as it was loud and made me a nervous wreck.

I've been admiring the images on your gallery page. I wish I could learn to take photographs as good as those.
Thanks that's kind of you, they are OK for an amater, I will try and add some more

Or paint your camera pink
I'd love a baby pink one but have opted for cherry red, looking forward to recieving it.

PS my wife and I found a marvellous coffee shop in one of the main streets with a great selection of cakes.
Hi that might have been: David Browns in Catherine Street, Boston T-Rooms in High street.

I want to take photo's of things tourists don't normally see, instead of the cathedral all the time.

I have a close friend who is a Committee member. I can put you in touch with him. I know that he will make you welcome. please do not judge the club from these two miserable men.
Salisbury club is well respected in the Southern Association and will be very disappointed at your experience.
I shall be seeing Adrian here on the Isle of Wight this coming week.
If you are willing to give it another try, I will tell him of your concerns at taking a camera out on your own. I am sure he will respond and be a good tutor. He is a proffesional photographer with a keen interest in helping young people.
If you are set against another club experience, I am sure Adrian will offer you help outside of the club.
regards Thoramay.
Hi thoramay. Dats very kind of you, my grandad used to be into photography, and he took some pictures of Salisbury during WW2. A lot of the streets have changed beyond recognition, but i think I can locate where some of them used to be.

I think Adrian needs to know why younger members are not turning up to join Salisbury camera club. These two people (man and wife) used to run a shop along Bridge Street before they retired. I am just very wary of joining a camera club now because it usually turns out that most of the members are seniors, and these two in Salisbury club seemed a bit hostile towards younger people.

It's good to learn off the older generation but some of them need to realise (no offence intended here) that we are not all yobs and hoodies.

Another thing I should have mentioned is that I have boarderline learning difficulties and suffer from depression, my photography helps take my mind off that. I am going to become a full member of the Pentax forum if I can, I have learnt a lot here.

Is there a Pentax meet up group on this forum?

I'm sorry but those two (man and a woman) obviously were not used to younger people. I know they didn't have children of their own or grandchildren. I tried my best to please them, perhaps I should have complained, I left because I wasn't enjoying it any more.

As you are a student, does your college or university have a camera club?

Don't be worried about going out with your camera. A Pentax camera on the end of 18 inches or so of strap makes a pretty formidable weapon
Dunno have to ask, never thought of that.

Tried Salisbury camera club. I was the youngest one there and I left because the two old fogey's who ran it didn't like me very much, because I was a teenager when I joined they were very suspiciouse of me. A lot of camera clubs have older people in them and not much scope for younger people like me, so when we do join we are met with suspicion that we're all hoodies out for a lark.

Sad really as there are some good younger photographers out there.
