I wonder where the best deal is... SRS has free batteries, Clifton cameras has free bag + strap.. both at the same price with free delivery.
Too late now as I have recieved it from SRS, need a magnifying glass to read the destruction book.

Anything happening between Christmas and New Year?
Stuck with stuffy old fogies who don't want to do anything except watch the TV! Might get out with my camera before I have a melt down.

I have receieved the Pentax K30 from SRS Microsystems. I have clicked on the £50 cash back forum for the offer and it has come up with a claim form through Adobe reader (pdf). I would like to fill it in and e-mail it to Pentax, but its not letting me. Spellings bad tonight as I keep hitting two buttons at once, and I have written this out twice due to corrections which is frustrating)

It says Please return this form, together with your proof of purchase to:
PENTAX RICOH IMAGING UK LTD blah blah blah.

Only thing is I don't have a printer, and what proof of perchase do I need to send? I have boarderline learning difficulties, and I find this very confusing.

Can you advise me please?

Apart from someone nagging you and the inevitable urge at Christmas to join in with "the new bit of kit" is there any good reason that you have to change?
Will carry on with it until I have no choice but to change.

Enthusiasts still keep Spitfires and Hurricanes flying !!
Yes, but at what cost...a game for the rich? You can keep an MX flying if you can make the parts, and indeed they could be made. But the cost would probably be outof all proportion.
Yeah the ordainairy Joanna like me on the street could never afford that. Once you could buy a Spitfire for a little as £5, now now. be a cool way to get to work through

Domke bags are 'less-used' in the UK than many other bags... Very subtle IMO but a bit pricey (hence my lack of Domke bags)...

Can anyone recommend a camera bag that I can put my DSLR in that doesn't look like a camera bag?

Something that doesn't scream 'I HAVE AN EXPENSIVE CAMERA INSIDE OF ME!'

Thanks.
I reckon that to a large extent it's how you wear it... My everyday bag is a Crumpler... A few years ago they didn't look like camera bags and they haven't changed much except in popularity... So now they do...
Your best bet is to go to a couple of shops with a decent range of bags and just pick the one you like and use it...
I think that's the better idea. I don't want a bag too bulky, something I can whip the camera in an out (shake it all about. Just joking)

Thanks.

Just 8

Win8 is quite fast but there are some issues with the usability of the interface - they've tried to design it to compete with the apple ios and google android so its all done with touch screens in mind which is irritating.

You can still just go to the desktop and get a familiar interface though.

I would have som ereservations about a machine running XP being able to handle win 7 or 8 though. Do you know what CPU and memory you have?
Not sure I think I have Pentium 3, how do I find out please?

Fancier Easy 20 DSLR Camera Shoulder Bag Case Holder looks good, as does JENOVA which has a Water repellent finish. The Fancier Kingkong II 20 DSLR Digital SLR Camera + Lens Bag looks good, but can you put a DSLR in it?

I have a Lopro at the moment but every time I put my bridge camera in, the padding at the back sometimes gets trapped underneath, and it’s a pain trying to pull it out to straighten it.
