Hi Brille,
SRS is the place to visit but as usual check their stocks before your visit.

Just a nudge, have you read the comparison between the 16-45 with the 16-50 in the latest forum user,
I've got the 16-50 f2.8 with no complaints but the review highlights some interesting factors.
Best of luck but I would avoid the larger camera shops that may not give you a back-up service .

"must get off the computer and take some shots"
regards

Hi to all,
I'm In support of martin's views, speaking as a rookie to this community I was interested in the titles bestowed on members, after reading the above comments I now understand the title rules.
Maybe there is no need for a title, surely the date joined and the posts shown is enough to indicate a member's loyalty to the community.
I've seen and experienced the ego/one upmanship brigade to know it is not in the interest of building a loyal community.
We all have something to bring to the 'table' in these forums, a point of view, an inspiration to capture a shot,a 'wow how did I do that etc....
Let our interest keep us together not apart.

regards to all.

This reminds me of a few months ago , hyped-up about the new" techie' bits on new cameras, to be able to take shots in the darkest of nights without any flash or aided lights along with zillions of megapixels. I got caught in the trap ...D300, D700, 5D mk2,
Never satisfied my aims to fully commit to any brand, due to the availability of good affordable lenses and that nagging feeling I was being ripped off by the" into the future hype".

Having reviewed Pentax and their stability/commitment to quality, I got the K20D, 35mm f2.8 macro limited and the 16-50 DA*f2.8 lens and I can honestly say I am committed to Pentax for the I.Q ease of use and affordability of quality gear. The weatherproofing gives me confidence to take the shots rather than to pack away my gear.

It's cost me dearly to get here but I'm glad I got off the "spinning wheel"
For sure every system has its difference and why!!
It seems Pentax has kept with giving us a camera to take shots without the confusion of the 'mind"
