LOL there was an empty enclosure so perhaps they were about to move into the new place. I did get a distant pic of a rabbit in the old one. LOL

lovely set I love the Zebra one. The party crasher one is a cracker too in fact its too hard to choose.
Its a while since I went there the main reason I went was to get some Zebra shots for a photo montage thats still in progress (I like to use my own stuff where possible rather than stock). Much to my dissapointment there didnt seem to be any Zebras around went to their encloser a few times but none appeared thought they must be camera shy lol.

I have been looking at them but thinking of selling my K5 to help buy one.
Nothing wrong with the K5 but I dont do it justice seem to always get "muddy" shots which is down to the fact I'm not using it right. So thought I would go for something smaller. Although I think I'm kidding myself think a differant camera would make me take better photos LOL.

This may seem a stupid question but would a photo that had been posted in the main gallery a month or so ago be acceptable? The reason I ask is although I have images in my archive that would sometimes fit the bill for these comps, apart from the fact they were taken in my pre Pentax days,so have not so many pentax ones yet, but some of the ones I thought might do and are taken with a pentax I have posted earlier in the main gallery.

The monthly one was better for me too. Even so only managed to get out after dark twice all month, the second time I had planed to retake my entry but unfortunatly the garage had its lights out for some reason. So had to go with the first that why I was later entering. This month could well because I cant think of anything LOL.

I can see how detail can be brought out and it shows how HDR can be produced from a single image but I feel its type image doesn't sit well as HDR makes the policemen look as if they need a good wash and they stand out too much.
Not that I'm an expert but just an opinion based on taste.

I think the photos have more to do with the person taking the shot than the lens tho as I have the same lens and so far achieved nothing good with it. But the same goes for all no matter what lens I use LOL. Will keep trying tho.
