Seems like they have done a deal with Pentax over the remaining stock of these lenses. Their ebay branch have 4 left at £288.10 post free and some more that they put on later, but the price is rising

Yesterday wasn't a holiday in Scotland which could be causing some confusion

I was very surprised to see what is widely regarded as the best 90mm macro lens ever made the Tokina AT-X 90mm f/2.5 Macro go for only £149 on ebay yesterday. These lenses are very rare mainly because people who own them just won't part with them.

I agree with Stefan. The Sigma is poor at the 300 end. The 55-300 is a match for anything at f/8-f/11

Sorry for the confusion. I'm not a big fan of B&W on digital so
I can't really comment.

It might have been better with the bottom of the bottle in focus?
The lighting looks OK, but I think you need to add one or two
other items to the picture.

We would need something better than B&W to judge. I doubt if you would ever find two Helios lenses the same anyway.

There are some good ones out there

This seller admits he hasn't a clue about what he's selling

Looks like someone's screwed a Novoflex follow focus pistol grip to the tripod bush on a bellows and added what is probably a Leica thread British made National Trinol 105mm f/3.5 lens to it. (Probably TTH lens elements)

The lens could be worth quite a bit to a collector. If it has the Leica mount that bit would have been made in Scotland. Although on second look it seems that it's only the head of the lens.

I'm not sure if there's a focusing rack mixed in for good measure.

That went quick John. I've just looked at ebays
completed listings full BIN of £450

I can't decide whether to sell mine or sell the F*300 f/4.
Seems pointless keeping the two.
I'll have to do some more testing
