That should be OK then. The good thing about Noscript is that it doesn't let any site you visit run scripts until you OK it. Worth installing alongside Adblock. Also worth downloading a "Hosts" file with a lot of advertising sites, parasites already in it. link

I love Adblock. It stops Google from following me around and then selling my data to the highest bidder!
Adblock only stops the pictures appearing. You also need Noscript to stop/control Java Script. Mark any Google stuff as untrusted in Noscript.
Sadly Firefox get most of their income from Google and for that reason I don't like turning it off, but I'm not allowing any spyware on my computer.

Be careful with old scanners a lot of them need a SCSI card.
I've got old Nikon and Olympus scanners but rarely use them
nowdays or any other SCSI stuff for that matter. I used to like
SCSI but the industry dropped it for Firewire and USB. Still got
SCSI DAT drives, Jaz drives, Tape drives etc.

Apart from people doing colour printing prior to 197? no one would have known what you meant by Magenta and Cyan. I was actually disturbed (turned my stomach)by it when I first saw it in a book on colour printing. It was like a colour that had gone horribly wrong Later in the 70's clothing started to appear magenta coloured and it became acceptable. Strangely it goes well with blue indigo denim, but the RGB values are actually quite close even though some people might think they are complementary colours.

Most people can mix pink with paint it's just some white with a bit of red added and it will always be a shade of red and white, but RGB hasn't got any white and R and B give magenta, so to get pink you have to add R+G+B which puts it very close to white and going out of gamut. Also don't forget that equal amounts of RGB give grey.

Edit: The first page given by Tim doesn't seem to be written correctly and they refer to turquoise and pink?
Also to pink as magenta.

The second link is better and you can see from the colour wheel that pink isn't in it..... because it's a mixture of red and white which means it has all 3 RGB values not just 1 or 2 that all the colours in the wheel have. So Pink obviously can't have a wavelength. Magenta could have.

In colour printing there were two processes Additive and Subtractive. Additive used RGB filters. Subtractive used CYM filters. Subtractive was the most commonly used and was available in most enlarger colour heads.

I must admit I was wondering about that too. It looks pink to me
Seems to be in sRGB space and PS gives a warning about out of Gamut (not Mats fault) so I suppose it will be displayed differently on different monitors?

Flossie would you like to explain the chocolate teapot a bit more please
A chocolate teapot or chocolate fireguard is an item that is of absolutely no use. Obviously it would just melt

The first picture of the PINK flower is great. Your monitor needs calibrating though if it's pink

Looks a nice lens.

Just stand a ruler up at 45deg at the side of a cornflakes box so that it looks similar to the Spyder in the links above. Your focus point is where the ruler passes the front face of the box.
