The last one was a poor listing and the seller had only 3 +'s for buying and nothing for selling, it didn't reach the reserve at something like £184. I think this seller got the price from that, went a bit lower for no case.

They normally go for £240 ish but lately £220 has been quite normal.

Looks like he's selling a set of Kenko AF Extension Tubes for £65

As my final post in this thread this is the English translation of the original Japanese Technical Reports on the 43mm and 77mm Ltd's. I'm led to believe the original Japanese was written by Jun Hirakawa. It shows how the design was fudged to allow the lens to produce images that were considered better photographically.

The 28mm SOFT was also by Mr. Hirakawa, unlikely to have been a 100% computer design.

Good points made on the eye. Can't see any catch light at all in Lightroom. I'd have to put one there in Elements. Maybe, I'll try and take it again instead. Hope weather brightens up for the weekend, and its still there
The problem is due to the tonal range available. In bright sunlight it's not enough and having white feathers doesn't help. (The duck not you )If you try 100ISO next time it might just catch a bit more shadow detail. Even lightening the jpg you posted does show the eye.

The sharpness is better than I would have expected from a mirror and 400ISO.

It would be a good shot if you could lighten the eye a bit. If you have the RAW it should be possible.

Some nice shades of red in that shot. We don't get
sunsets like that anymore
