OEM is a very misleading term? A copy of OEM Windows XP would mean a Dell branded copy etc. see Wikipedia

Origin of term

OEM is defined by IBM to refer to "a manufacturer of equipment that may be marketed by another manufacturer"

The IBM Glossary can be DL from here

We don't know who the OEM of the Pentax batteries was. But John is referring to the correct batteries anyway

I've got 4 batteries for my K20D The two Pentax branded ones work perfectly. The other only do about 50 shots so Pentax batteries seem better in the long run.

Untick Constrain Proportions
Won't that distort the image?

I assume that they mean "Maintain Aspect Ratio"

There is a Freeware program that's quite good for doing lossless
crops on Jpegs called JPEGCrops. You should be able to set a
custom size to whatever you want. All the standard sizes are
already set in the menu.

Download from:
http://ekot.dk/programmer/JPEGCrops/

It's only a small program quite easy to install/uninstall.

Look at the links page for other cropping programs also
a Paint Shop Pro tutorial on creative cropping.

HK deliveries can take anywhere between 4 days and 5 weeks+
You will probably eventually get them so it's up to you.

Cheaper to get slate from China!
I think most of it's from Spain these days, some good some bad all cheap. I've seen granite road kerbs from China cut to circles round lamp posts (made to measure)I doubt if they would have ever made them here, even years ago the cost would be too much. They weren't cheap from China either.
