The 'M' Series correction lenses should work with any Pentax Camera

Example

Nice sharp shots, but there seems to be a touch of purple in the wings, claws and feathers, probably due to WB and weather conditions. Did you have the camera on AWB or cloudy etc. If they came from RAW files I'm not 100% satisfied that the WB works exactly the same as in camera?

It should be an excellent lens in brighter weather conditions.
They were recorded as jpeg and the wb was set to auto. I suspect any issues are more likely to be down to me than the lens - first time using this lens, 3rd time I have used the Kr and have just started using LR3 and may have made some errors in there as well
I've had similar problems before. The best solution is look for some galvanised iron... scaffolding... gate latch etc. Take a shot of it and then alter the WB to cloudy or shade or the K value until it looks right on the camera screen. AWB is excellent, but only with certain lenses.

Using Instant CD/DVD Software DVD-RAM can also be de-fragged and the disk can be finalized (reversible by just drag dropping a file onto it). Once finalized the disk can be played by just about anything especially if UDF 1.02 has been used as the format. It can also be copied and read as a normal DVD.

If you look at a retail Movie DVD on a PC it shows up as a UDF 1.02 disk, so the format is widely used.

The 5x disks are fast but there are supposed to be 12x disks available in Japan.

This Company are Data Storage Specialists and they sell and repair DVD-RAM drives plus other storage products.

I've used all kinds of tape storage and had trouble with all of it. About the worst being DAT drives.

DVD-RAM must be good because it never caught on and isn't standard on a Mac

Thanks for that. At least it retains what had become a sort of Pentax branding even though it will be hidden by the hood.

I was looking at some lenses in a Camera Shop window last week and thought all the others (Nikon etc.) looked a bit unfinished compared to the Pentax ones on display.

But the 35/2.4 is a budget lens
I like the blue ring on the Samsung lenses as well

Why have they made the bottom of the lens look very cheap?
The green line has gone and so has the silver nameplate.
They haven't even kept the redline?

Very nice shots, but you processing seems to be introducing Jaggies on the first couple?

I've always found this lens sharp enough at the 300mm end. I never realised that it would be so good for cityscapes No:8 is great

You will get sharper pictures stopping down to f/8 or f/9.5 as long as you are careful holding the camera steady at say 1/350th.
