Is it the RF-603 C1 version that they sent you?
It should be compatible. Yongnuo say so on their
ebay site?

Update on the Yongnuo RF-603 trigger (Canon model). They do not work with Pentax at all.
Can't you just trace the two Hotshoe contacts that fire the flash and check if they are actually contacting the Pentax camera Hotshoe?

Could you wire it to the PC out on the camera?

You could keep them as a shutter realease?

The Pixel soldier's look OK, strange they work and the RF-603 doesn't?
You'll need to buy a box of CR2032's

I've been saying that since 1981 when the MEF came out

I've just revalued my example as it's also mint with case and has been used less than five times.

Best regards
Waste of time you taking it to Australia with you Gary
It's in the UK.
It was a joke Gary somehow I realised you wouldn't have took it!

So that's why so many good products and operating systems etc. get replaced by rubbish! and a few icons resembling Matel Toys!

I wish we could get back to the days when manufacturers simply turned out the best they could like Dyson did with the vacuum cleaner

I think Dyson need to move into management training and sweep away all the nonsense currently being taught.

That sounds OK. I think some of the Canikons have also digital shutters that can sync at very high speeds.

Quote: "Remote shutter release with half press autofocus"

This is already on the RF-602 and a Red and Green LED come on to show which position the switch is in.

I think you have to set ALLOW in the camera for it to work.

The only good thing I've seen about the RF-603's and possibly why you can't use just one lead is that the one on the camera can transmit and receive at the same time without getting the signals mixed up. So you only need 3 units. One on the camera, one on the flash and one in your hand to fire the camera. With other makes and even the RF-602 you need 4 units. I think even Pocket Wizard needs 4.

Some more up to date info here

I'm surprised it wasn't supplied. The YN-603 transceiver is shown connected to a studio flash on one of the photos on this ebay listing

Before I started this thread yesterday I put in a "low" offer on a Pentax-A 50mm f1.7, same as I had before, to my surprise this morning my wife text me to tell me the offer was accepted so soon I should hopefully once again own my favourite lens!

Lee
That's great news. The f/1.7 is much better than the f/2
