It's a shot worth keeping and opening it in another window it looks a lot better. If you can recover the highlights it should sharpen up.

Get used to it.
When you bought into Pentax you also opted out of most magazine reviews.
The topic has been well covered on numerous occasions. Just enjoy the nice pictures, until you get fed up of articles on fill in flash,ND10 filters oh and not forgetting the all time classic, how to hold the camera.

It plays on VLC, but I've always found that to have poor sound
quality anyway.
It does sound like the AGC has pushed up the background noise.
I've not tried Video on the K20D yet. Sound on miniDV recorders
isn't too bad.

The wide converter just needs a piece of tracing paper etc.
fixing to it and it becomes a perfect flash diffuser that fits
better than any bought one

If you find a site with a test, you can sometimes download their calibrated profile. I did that for a Samsung tested by TFTCentral and it was better than the one I'd done myself with Huey and Argyll
