Welcome to the site, AdaMarie!! I'm sure you'll find it useful, and you'll definitely find the members will go out of their way to offer you tips, advice, comment, and critique on any photos you may post. Although I now own a Kr, most of the small amount of photos in my GALLERY were shot on a Pentax compact. I'm pleaed with the quality Pentax compacts offer - I'm sure you'll feel the same about yours too!

First time pentax buyer and forum newbie here so "hi all!"
I've just taken delivery of a WG-2 GPS and I am really pleased with it so far. Bought for my holiday in a few weeks so we don't have to lug the DSLR everywhere and can keep it for round the pool etc
Wonder if anyone can help with one thing though? I cant seem to activate the self-portrait assist mode by using the face detection button (in any mode)as per the manual. I've been through (I think!) every other menu to see if I need to enable it elsewhere but can't find anything
Any help would be gratefully appreciated - tks

I recently bought a Pentax Optio WG-2, I was so impressed by its "adventure proof" capabilities and I can't wait to use it underwater, too! Another reason is that it has the "Interval Mode" setting and I wish to do some Time-Lapse videos of my own soon. I hope I can learn a lot from this forum. Thanks!
