Video with the W90

This is the sort of thing that for many people is all they demand of the video in a phone or camera - the impromptu recording of family-related events:

It would be nice to have better image quality, even for off the cuff recordings though - which is why I would personally choose something better. I know the K5 is excellent, but have you tried the Q in video yet?

No, I haven't, but in this instance the W90 is the camera that's always in my pocket. My Mum-in-law will be pleased to have the record of the event and she won't be worried about better quality.

True! My sister's just had a baby, and of course the first pictures (which will be treasured for years to come) have also been taken on a mobile phone. And uploaded to facebook before the umbilical cord was cut no doubt! Still, it would have been nicer if they had been better so it's worthwhile getting the best model you can.

Not bad at all considering that it's like your "pocket camera". I'm pretty sure it'll be treasured for years to come.
