Perhaps K100 Super users could supply a link for that camera's firmware upgrade?

I'm going from memory here and it's some time ago, but I don't think there was a firmware update for the K100D Super. Certainly one is not listed on the Pentax site

The 1.02 update was not for the K100DS; the update added SDHC compatibility to the K100D, which the K100DS already had.

As others have said, there is no firmware update for the K100D Super camera. The K100D is a different model for which there is a firmware version 1.02 but it will not work in the K100D Super, which is probably why you are having trouble upgrading.
