Has anyone seen SMOKE? Harvey Keitel, Forest Whittaker etc... Great movie about friendship and a little bit of photography... check it out!
2x K10D bodies, 2x FA 28-200 3.8-5.6, DA 18-55, A 50 F2, 50mm Macro, 360 FGZ. Still saving for the 60-250 DA* Also have a Z10 35mm and a K1000 just for fun. IF PENTAX IS THE ANSWER, WHO CARES WHAT THE QUESTION IS...!

Flicking casually through Sky Movies last night and came across Samuel L Jackson/Eugene Levy 'comedy' offering 'The Man'.
It's notable for one reason only, a Pentax DSLR (didn't see the model, fleeting glance only) is used in the police station to take mugshots.
In fact, I might start another thread on this...

My top ten of best films ever consists of 5 titles (as for now):
Little big man
Vertigo
Koyaanisqatsi
Grave of the fireflies
..and somehow also Forrest Gump.
But if you ask me, which films I regard as so extremely beautifully shot, that becoming very inspiring also for photography work, I will reveal without hesitation:
Before all most of Terrence Malick's works, that is:
To the Wonder
Thin Red Line
Badlands
Days of Heaven.
Then there will come others, that will sharpen my appetite for photography even further:
Baraka
Come and see
Powaqqatsi
Once upon a time in the west
Vertigo
Koyaanisqatsi
Magnolia

How about a photo themed one - I love that one with Robin Williams as the creepy photo bureau worker (in a big superstore) who for years has been making extra prints of a family he obsesses about ... the scene in his flat where we turn to see the wall to wall prints of the family is spine-tingling I think its called Photo Guy ?

The one you were after was One Hour Photo.
To this one I would also add Rear Window, as Blow Up would be too obvious

Been watching Baraka again recently and also decided to see this "A Closer Look" documentary afterwards. The Baraka crew reveal there how and with what they shoot the film. Now it's no wonder why Baraka is done so beautifully!
