Hi all. Right. Exciting News alert. is my first book. It’s a 40 page collection of photographs that I’ve taken of so many of the theatres I’ve had the pleasure of working in over the last 10 years. Published next week on Wednesday December 16th (special launch price £15.95), I’ve written it specifically to support UK Theatres during this extraordinarily difficult time for the industry: all proceeds will go directly to the , who do such amazing work helping our theatres to survive, and reopen, both now and in future. I'm currently taking pre-orders on my website at www.billwardphotography.co.uk/theatresindanger : all prints will be sent off to the printers on the day of order, and copies of the book will be sent out first class from December 16th, so perfect for Xmas presents. I have detailed explanatory launch posts posted on my social media accounts on and , if you'd like a closer look... All the photographs in the book, as well as those that I haven’t been able to squeeze in (and there are many of them) are available as signed and numbered prints - again, all proceeds from print sales will go directly to the . A huge thank you to photo journalist, Pentax Ambassador/user and editor who’s idea it was to make this book, for his brilliant design and extraordinary energy, and also to our publishers the Lavenham Press, for their first rate advice, expertise and know how throughout. I would say this wouldn't I, but this really is a pretty decent cause. Thanks so much all for all your support for this project... hugely appreciated my end... have been absolutely delighted with the launch... loads of coverage on both a local and a national level... flat out packing and posting for the last 10 days or so... a thoroughly positive experience all round...

Unwrapped today - brilliant pictures but a stark reminder that these wonderful spaces are dark at the moment.
And a brilliant idea - I hope you have to do many reprints.
