Hi all,

We are having an Open Day on the 9th of October from 9.30 to 4.30. We will be showcasing all of the new Pentax product, some of which has been announced and some that hasn't....

As usual, Steve and Lindsey will be on hand from Pentax to provide assistance and there will be the usual food, drinks and freebies!

Any questions then please ask. Please don't ask what is being announced on the 20th as I am unable to say

I can, of course, answer anything on the gear already announced.

Chris

Showcasing is one thing...selling them is another .

Any ideas on when these new products, announced and tba will actually be available?

Not sure I can make it on the 9th sadly .

Gwyn,

The K10 was 'announced' mid-September 2006, and was available shortly thereafter. Even in Oz, they were certainly available in October that year

My tip is that the calendar for this one might look fairly similar.

Is that the 20th of September or October Chris?

Just so I can set an alarm of course.
Cheers, HG

K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...

PPG entries.

HG 20the September. Get that alarm set .

i_Berg I hope you are right. The K-7 took a long time to reach most of Europe. We are very low on Pentax's priority list.

I shall be putting in an order for a K5 asap.

I am not confirming an announcement on that day! I have just had lots of emails asking if there is going to be something announced on the 20th September (if that makes sense!)

Chris - sounds exciting! Will you have any 645 lenses to test?

Excellent day to have an open day, it's my birthday but I'm afraid I will not be able to attend. Having shelled out an enormous amount of money to have a number of female feral cats spayed, I can't afford any more toys for a while.

Have a great day Chris.
