No not Sydney,
Darwin is a much better bet!
From there you can get to Kakadu National Park, and Arnemland National Park.
NT Australia is the place to be, Australia in the raw, Magnificent Scenery, lively, wonderful people, and the added bonus is you get to eat Barramundi and the finest OZ steaks.
Pack your cameras, pack you Akubras, and go!

Yep, the Dutch...gawd bless them, my colleagues are great, the service I get at HAFO and Kamera-express is as good as I get at SRS and CameraWorld, but there are some people here who have enormous chips on their shoulders....

But I do get irritated by people who take advantage of a situation (bad legislation in this case) to behave in an unreasonable manner. In my view it is quite unethical to try out equipment at a seller's expense and then return it for reasons that have nothing to do with the quality or suitability of the product.
That camera will probably now have to be returned to Pentax, inspected, re-packaged, and sold at a discount as "refurbished".
If everybody did this, prices would rise by probably 30%.
Sadly, some people are more aware of their rights than their responsibilities, and when such people announce their decision to part company with the forum, I can do no less than to express my gratitude to them.

I have to agree George, I know of people who buy clothing and shoes for special events and then return them afterwards for the refund. Actually, I'm not.

What a laugh this is. You are all so morally perfect arent you!!
Do you think it costs pentax anywhere near the amount they sell the slr's for??
Of course not. I returned as i made the wrong purchase. Simple as that. Im certainly not going to lose any sleep over it.
I know of companies that clean them, wrap them up and sell as new again so not all lose out.
I dont buy clothing and then return , thats just a silly statement. You are all so judgemental is laughable. Do you all stick to the 30mph speed limit too?
Your just kidding yourselves and trying to appear perfect. Your the stupid ones, not me!
I know who i am! DO YOU!!
p.s i only came back on to see what ridiculous comments you all put!
