The 'satiny' texture that the K3/100mm combination has produced is interesting. I too have been photographing red tulips today using a K5 and Sigma 105, they simply do not have that sheen irrespective of the camera/light positioning.

The red tulips in the first one really pop out of the dark background.
2nd one for me too, great shot, BTW what happened to the colours in the shot taken with the 50-135?
