I don't trust auctions where you can't see who your bidding against, ten bids could be just two bidders where the first one is a dealer!

Still I'm going to watch out of interest.
Cheers, HG

Now at £21! If this is new condition then £150 would be a bargain.

With 4 days to go, it will likely go higher than that.

I might be tight, the most I'd pay would be £60.

It's an unseen lens with no garantee that it's fine.

I'd pay more from a dealer such as SRS though.

Provided the seller has good feedback and the item appears OK then it's worth a chance. Not many sellers with a good track record got where they are by letting people down.

In any event PayPal protection is pretty thorough in the buyer's favour.

Plenty of photo gear sells quite happily for high prices and without too much grief.
Best regards, John

Agreed, John, but the sellers feed back is only 34 and he's used a stock photo. Still.

Just checked the price, now at £100.

I have had a look and all of his auctions a "Private" so you cannot see what he has sold in the past.

It makes me ask why is he doing that?

And most of what he is selling is Samsung ! I wonder why?

Overall, it may be a real mint condition item, but a lot makes me wary.

You reckon? I had to make use of their buyer protection last year for an item which I paid 130 quid for that never ever arrived... and the same situation with the other dozen or so buyer that contacted me. We got 18 quid each, the balance of his PayPal account divided between us.

Not worth the paper it's [not] written on
