Bidders IDs are not disclosed. All it says now is Bidder1, Bidder2, Bidder3 &c but you can see what an individuals pattern is. So using the PM system is not an option any longer.

It is tempting to go for it - just for the lens. Pentax version is around £500. Then resell the body alone.
If it turns up with a different lens then a dispute through ebay or a refund.

You might even be able to sue the seller direct for "Loss of Bargain"It is tempting to go for it - just for the lens. Pentax version is around £500. Then resell the body alone.

It looks like mine was reasonable too, not bought on fleabay, but from the Cameraworld stand at Focus yesterday. Price? a mere £180 for a brand new model. So if you want one get over to Focus tomorrow or Weds and get one. (normal cameraworld price is £195)
Some Cameras

Yes he could be legitimate - but why would a private seller have two of those lenses? Or all of the other cameras?
And why hide bidder identities?
There is just something odd ...
I used to hide bidders identities because the phone business on Ebay was full of dodgy characters who used to look at auctions, see who was bidding on what and contact them via ebays private messaging offering them the same phone at a cheaper price. Im sure that happens on other types of auction.
