Question about PixelShift

Based on comparing ACR and PDCU conversions of the same PS image (using the Mk 1 eyeball), I believe that ACR does combine the 4 images into 1 but does not implement any motion correction.

ACR offers no options with respect to PS, you can't choose to correct for motion or not to combine the images if there are motion related artifacts. I will use PDCU for converting PS images.

You probably need something with much finer detailing. Postage stamps or beer bottles with artwork on them. Lettering is a poor test of any lens.

I've just seen ' The Camera Store TV' video review of the K1 (great review bye the way), and at the end they refer to weird colour issues with Pixel shift image using Lightroom.

They say that you should use Pentax Digital Camera Utility to process the Pixel Shift output as it gives great colours.
