The magazine is finished. I had an email to say it will no longer be published either as paper copy or on line copy.
CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

There's nothing I can see on their website or social media pages to suggest that.

Never mind, there's still Amateur Photographer...

Some people call me 'strange'.
I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.

As a subscriber to Practical Photography I too had an email advising me the next issue through my door would be the last before they close theirs.

That's the freebie that came with one of my bank accounts gone, then
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

According to PP's owners (Bauer Media), average issue circulation Jan - Jun 2019 was 36,915 (Source: ABC Jan – Jun 2019). ABC gives Jan - Dec 2019 circulation per issue 32,860. That's a big drop over the year, and doesn't include the impact of Covid-19. For comparison, Amateur Photographer average issue circulation Jan - Dec 2019 was 13,144 (that's weekly so about 55,000/month). And the Beano averaged 41,891 for Jun - Dec 2019 (also weekly, so over 165,000 per month).

And PP's readership? Bauer Media says:
On average aged 48 years old.
Are mostly male (With a 86% - 14% split).
Earn an average 34k per annum.
Combined, they spent £188 million on gear in the last year.
The average reader has had an interest in traditional photography for 18yrs, and Interested in digital photography for 4 years.

Anyone admit to being the average reader? Including spending £5K (15% of income) per year on gear?

Aren't numbers interesting!

Speaking personally, if I spent 5k per year on new gear, at best, I would be living in the shed. Must have been a tough time for all magazines over this past 3 to 4 months though. I used to rummage through the magazine section of the local supermarket when doing the weekly shop and pick up whatever took my fancy. I'm guessing that trade has all but disappeared currently.

According to his web-site, he is a FRPS, edits Photography News and does lectures.

Well, there is a Will Cheung like that...

I am afraid it would be a medium'ish zoom in EF or FE mount
Will has given two talks at our club.
