Any photographers unable to afford a camera?

That's very generous of you Karl, hopefully somebody does know such a budding photographer. A K10D would be very serviceable and give good results.
Best regards, John

Perhaps there are local charity organisations that look for donations of photographic material?

Or colleges? They might have a use for it for photography courses in the (hopefully not too distant) future.

If there are no takers, The Disabled Photographers Society (see https://www.the-dps.co.uk for contact details) accepts donations of kit which they sell to fund adaptation of kit for use by disabled people.
They usually have a stand at The Photography Show, which is where I came across them four or five years ago.

Yes, very noble.
Given that I thought I would get peanuts for a samsung version of the camera with the 2 lens kit I was surprised to have 10 people get in touch with me within 5 minutes.
So, if you are still thinking of selling the K10D on it still has plenty of residual value, and admirers.

Hi Karl,
Just wondering whether you’d had any takers for your original, and very generous offer?
In the event that you still have the K10D etc., I would certainly be interested.
I have been looking at digital (yes, rather late on the scene I admit) but unable to contemplate laying out the sums involved - the demands of 4 grandchildren don’t help!!
If it’s already found a good home then that’s very pleasing but, if not........
Take care,
Mike

I don't expect it would make a lot at re-sale and to be honest I would much rather it went to someone who is passionate about photography but unable to fund a camera.
Do we know of such an individual?
