Pentax User Summer outing

OK folks, I'm getting a bit restless the longest day has come and gone, I think it is time we organised another Pentax User meet in July, I am currently available every weekend apart from the first so hear are a few possible suggestions for discussion:

Northumberland; Alnwick castle, Bambrough Castle, a cheep boat trip £4 from amble round Coquet Island, the Farn Island.

Tyne & Wear; Newcastle & Gateshead Quay side & the Angel of the North

Cleveland; Castle Eden Walkway, Rosebery Topping

North York's; Revoux Abbey, Harewood House

My vote would go to Rievaulx Abbey, but can't do 17/18 or 31/1

I wouldn't mind Northumberland, the trip to the Farn sounds good, but I'd have to make a long weekend of it with the missus, and that would depend on her shifts for a suitable date.

Harewood house sound good to me too, its just around the corner compared to the distance some of you guys would travel

That leaves us two possible weekends in July:10-11 or 24-25 and three possible locations, Harewood, Rievaulx or the Farn's, Gareth has not posted yet he has show an interested in the Farn's.

One idea I had was a combined day following the sun starting at Bamburgh then Alnwick Castle pastures finishing up at Alnwick gardens.

I can't do 10-11th but can do any other weekend (with a bit of notice). Happy to do anywhere.

Well that looks like we have a date and no set venue 24 or 25th it is.

Ah! Just realised I can't do that weekend either! August it is....?

Afraid I've not got free weekends till end July or in August. Would love any of the venues you suggested - Rievaulx is close for us, but I would equally love to come up to photograph Bamburgh etc (likely to come up for a few days out over the summer anyway, so would be good to meet up if anyone else was free other weekends?)

I've done some date checks and anything further than Harewood or Rievaulx would be out of the question till at least Mid September. other than that I could do almost any Saturday in July or August.

I'm looking to go to the Farnes on 24/25 July - travelling all the way from Richmond in that London.....
