Holy Moly, I have criticised Pentax heavily with the release of the two mirrorless cameras, but this is so promising.
Take my money now ...
(After telling myself I would be keeping the K5 for a very very long time)

I hope Marc Nuisance isn't on the design committee.

That's a pretty unfair and insulting quip really. MN did the job he was paid for, simple as that. I'm sure his brief wasn't to please 'dougf8' at all costs, was it ?

Nope, you can't please all the pentax users all the time, however, a design classic it maybe, like the IKEA yellow alarm clock to which it bears a striking similarity. Yellow and brick-ish.
Is it released yet?
I'm sure he can take a sledging just like every Australian can. (ahem)
I just wish I was the first to coin it .... but several people got there first.

I'm also glad Mark NoAesthetics wasn't on the design committee. The K-01 is positively ugly in my eyes. It has no charisma whatsoever.
Love is in the eye of the beholder though

It wasn't an objective job, it was a subjective job. As doug says, I@m sure he can take criticism. That's part of the job when you put your creativity on a public stage.
