27th is better for me... So I vote for that.
But hopefully I could still make the 20th if that's the majority decision. Obviously, Andrew should make the final call on the date

Either day fine at the moment. Dawn is around 08:00 and sunset around 16:30 at that time of the year. There are lots of potential venues, are folk thinking about being out for the whole day? (OK by me) in which case photograph dawn / spot of breakfast / morning photography / spot of lunch / afternoon & sunset photography sounds like a vague plan. And lets us cover more than 1 venue.
Signing off, out of web contact until sometime tomorrow.

I would be up for either date at the moment. Whether I would make dawn from here is debatable as I am not overly keen on getting up at 5am on Sundays in winter!

The 20th for me, but realistically, my attendance is only feasible if we meet in The White Peak due to my location.

I'm going to keep my eye on this one, haven't been to a Pentax meet yet and I spent many years hiking around the Peak District before getting into photography...would be nice to revisit with camera in hand

Why do you all live so far north? France is closer!
I'll shoot alone...
I'll shoot alone...
Best wishes,

I thought the Peak District was 'Down South'? At least it is for us Northerners! Why do you all live so far north? France is closer!
I'll shoot alone...
I'm off to Scotland next weekend with Puma, 9 hrs driving for me once I've picked Shaun up I hope we get some pretty damn good photos!
Anyway, anywhere in the Peaks is fine for me and I'm up for an early start if this suits?

Once we have a date, we can then pile in with suggestions of where we would like to go shooting, shortlist them and then agree on some meeting places and times.
