I'm currently without my camera

My old jinx struck again, dust in the viewfinder (a horrible speck right in the top, middle).
I managed to blow this off, but succeeded to introduce a few others,

By removing the screen (using the Pentax tool), I managed to scratch it.

This was confirmed by SRS, who very kindly advised that they would inspect for me (although it's not a warranty issue).

I am purchasing a new screen from SRS, and they will fit it for me. Unfortunately they are awaiting stock, so as it stands I can't commit at the moment.

It's been a week now, so fingers crossed.

Regards

Hello Dave / Stu
Thanks both for your generosity, greatly appreciated.
I'd be happy to use whatever caused either of you the minimal of inconvenience.

It looks like we have a date then

The BBC weather is currently forecasting light rain in the morning, whilst the Met office forecasts light showers.

Stu, what/where are you planning?

Thanks again.

Adrian,

It's no problem, it would only be sitting at home otherwise..

Will you be bringing your own lenses/SD card?

Hi both

I was hoping to look at the weather Friday and if need be alter the location accordingly as you know being a local, there could be rain on the hills but none at the coast etc

I'm OK sticking to a location or moving with the weather within reason
