Reaching up to touch 80 but not that age has anything to do with attitude, but mostly ability.
When I read some of the technical jargon on here it might as well be dutch or whatever, but what the heck. So long as I am above ground there are things to do and enjoy but mostly it is this Forum that fills up my day.
I am in the middle of fitting a securiy light but is has just started to pour down. (nearely said a naughty word there, but John is watching!!)Ah well!! Gives me time on here.

regards Thoramay.

Wow. I thought that I could judge the age of forum members from the way that they write, but this thread surely proves me wrong.

By the way, if you want to guess a Dingo's age, you have to multiply by seven - a bit like doggy years.

You lucky people who have retired in your 60s! You're probably the last generation to have that luxury, not that I begrudge it you

Working full time. However, working at home today So often have a spare minute for a coffee and a quick look on the forums. Retired from the Royal Air Force at 53, and now deliver training to the local council social care staff. Wonder if my job will be there in the next few months? All we keep hearing about are cuts, budgets, cuts, redundancies, cuts and job losses. At 62 it could be time to spend more time with my family and my hobbies

50yr old NHS worker here, work 30hrs a week including weekends. The mrs supports me by working full time. (Her choice though.) Hope to retire in 10yrs if this present government doesn't botch it like the last one.
