I think your Spotty F will look nice in..... Custard yellow!
Fusion blue metallic if I am not mistaken, a colour used on 9-3s and 9-5s within the last 10 years...Bit too dark for the Viggen-specific Lightning blue, but Viggens were available in Monte Carlo Yellow, and that some owners called them Bananamobiles

Oh, Dear!... My lovely black K1000 just sold on ebay, for a paltry £46. Forty six bleedin' pounds!. That's less than unpainted ones go for. Oh, well, I suppose people view painted cameras with a certain amount of suspicion. The lens on it must have been worth £20, alone.
The blue Spotty seems to be going down like a bacon sandwich at a Bar Mitzvah reception, too! - Been listed for three days and only a few page views and one watcher.
Good job I do this for fun, and not money, innit!

At least yours work - my orange MES turns out to have the common M series problem of the shutter not always cocking. Generally when you first wind on it won't, but after that it will. Not terribly helpful if, like me, you tend to make a film last for a few weeks!

Aahhh! Thanks, Hefty. You're a pal.
DM. I hear that's a (quite) easy fix. There are instructions on the web, if you feel like having a go. Or you could always swap the orange bits over to a rough, but fully working one.

I may try a quick squirt of lighter fluid in the hope of freeing it up. The problem suggests dried-up lubricant rather than a real mechanical fault.
I did think about swapping the parts onto another one but I have a tidy black MES in need of a heart transplant first. That one won't cock the shutter at all, and a pair of tidy black MES (the other one works fine) would be rather nice to have...
I don't seem to have much luck with them. Of the four I have only one works properly, another winds and shoots but underexposes consistently (if you set it to 200ISO with 400ISO film it's correct), the second black one won't cock its shutter and the orange one only cocks intermittently!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Search for Asahi Pentax SP1000 Body. It should come up.

I think that's probably your problem - I searched for "Spotmatic" and went through all the results twice with no joy, then remembered it was a SP1000. I'm betting the number of folk who search for "SP1000" are probably outnumbered by those searching for "Spotmatic" by several hundred to one.
As it has no bids yet I don't think it's too late to change the title - that one magic word could bring in a flood of potential buyers...
