Good news re: camera gear, bad news re: car.
I am glad that in reality there are many decent people in this world, despite what the tabloids would have us believe.
Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

hopefully you'll only need drain the tank on the car and refill with deisel...
it happens often enough... they drain the tank, drain and check (sometimes have to replace )the fuel pump and clean the injectors...
expect a $150.00 to $300.00 repair bill.

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Glad to hear you have all your kit back, it does restore your faith in humankind. Shame about the car though, you may be lucky I have had quite a few members of staff do this in the past and in each case no damage done.
I would avoid ladders for a few days if I were you though

After all the empathy we showed, you expect beer on top of that. That'll teach me...

Pour a litre of engine oil in the fuel tank before you drain it,,,My wife did my golf and the only way I could get rid of the full tank was to use the ignition to work the pump!.....drain it right off and refill with diesel, then keep refilling it every time it gets down to 3/4!....you should be ok!....mine is!....I'm chuffed to bits you got your gear back...all the best!...Ken
Ps. The oil is to lubricate the fuel pump!...

Seriously, the car is easy to sort out, it just needs draining and refuelling (with the correct fuel). Only your wallet will suffer if it needs a tow.
