Pentax Day at LCE Colchester , 30th January

Just a heads-up for those in the Essex/Suffolk area, that London Camera Exchange in Colchester are having a Pentax Day on 30th January.

I'll be loitering around there from about 10.00am onwards, if anyone want to come and say 'hello'.

I have to say it's great to have a Pro Dealer in Essex at last - I was up there a couple of weeks ago and they have a nice range of stock (3 different K-x colours, 100mm WR macro etc), which is always good. Cameraworld, as good as they are, generally don't have much Pentax, and aren't listed as Pro Dealers anymore.

Sounds good, will see if I can make it over. I was in the Colchester LCE over the Summer and I was surprised how small it was! When I was there they had one cabinet of Pentax gear but that was it (the cabinet directly in front of the door), great to hear that has improved!

Missed the ferry I'm afraid Dan.
It was tempting though, a day trip to Colchester. I could have visited some old haunts too. My aunt lived in Stisted for many years.

Would have been lovely to see you there, perhaps another time (I know Dave is keen to promote Pentax, so he's going to have more Pentax Days).

I had a nice day up there, speaking to several potential customers, and playing with various lenses I haven't had the chance to before, including the 17-70, 50-135, 100mm WR macro (there's not a lot of places with stock around these parts)...
