If you bought it from a Pro Centre you automatically get 2 years on it. Just need to keep the receipt to prove it.
The list of Pro Centres is on the Pentax UK website.

Send it back and ask for a refund. They knew of the sensor issue and shouldn't have supplied a camera from that period with out checking it

Get another one from SRS

That's a yes. Definitely staining.
That is very bad of Warehouse Express. As Algi says they shouldn't have sent one from that period out without checking it first.

Get your money back if you can and get one from SRS.

It looks like it. You could try another shot slightly lighter and view it at 1:1 If you have any method of cleaning the sensor you could also try that.

There's quite a bit on the US forum but you will have to go back to about Jan-Feb. This thread shows some shots link

Don't worry , I have been there before when i dumped all my nikon gear (D700) and bought the k-5 from amazon which was stained and was disheartened, but now with the new one from srs don't miss the d700 at all. I have the 43mm and 70mm which are simply amazing

bigger form left corner. I don't think those are dust as the sample image fro dust removal is clear

I'm more concerned about centre left tbh! Looks like classic string of pearls to me.

Definately a yes, but with a Nov 2010 model in May 2011 and with fingerprints in the viewfinder it does appear most of your problems are with the supplier.

The 'get a refund and buy from SRS' advice most definately applies here!

Don't worry, I'm on my third K-5

Had it been any other camera I would have stopped at 2 and bought something else.

Corner looks like dust, first one is def a stain.

That's definitely good advice...Warehouse Express are a Pro dealer and more than aware of the sensor stain issue - very poor service on their part to send out this model, they certainly wouldn't be keeping my cash.

I only bought mine on Monday and this is one of the reasons I bought from SRS, excellent customer service...I received a March 2011 model with absolutely no dust/stains.

i think i have the dreaded stains again...took these shots today after each one i did a sensor clean with my arctic butterfly but wont shift the ones on the right so i think they are stains...all opinions welcome...either that or i have the dirtiest sensor i have ever had

I am always careful when changing lenses
