Don't forget to factor in shipping.
Peter... given the price I am not surprised it hasn't sold, and "Emilia Arts" isn't known for letting things go for less than his somewhat inflated prices. I could never work out how he managed to get such a huge amount of feedback.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Just about says it all about this seller. He's started selling lens caps claiming they are for a specific lens eg. "Original Pentax 49mm Front Slip-On Lens Cap For 28mm f2.8 28mm f3.5 35mm etc"

Well he isn't really. He names several lenses and includes 'etc' at the end. He's started selling lens caps claiming they are for a specific lens eg. "Original Pentax 49mm Front Slip-On Lens Cap For 28mm f2.8 28mm f3.5 35mm etc"
It's a bit over the top, I'd agree, but there's no need to misrepresent the claims.
I have no idea of the filter size of most of my lenses without looking, although I can just about remember that the 50mm is 49

For the Pentax-M series nearly everything was standardised
at 49mm. Most of the K series were 52mm.
Pentax 49mm snap on lens hood is sufficient. What he's playing
at is actually quite nasty anyone searching for
"Pentax 28mm f2.8 lens" actually gets all he's junk in
the search he will be doing it with gadget bags next
The annoying part is that he's stripped these caps from lenses
that he's selling and substituted just a cheap end cap in this
case link
How about this one:
"Genuine Pentax K Rear/Back Lens Cap For 28mm f2.8 135mm f3.5 40mm f2.8 etc" link
The 28mm, 135mm, 40mm must have a different K Bayonet
at 49mm. Most of the K series were 52mm.

You're making a few assumptions as to the motivation, but if you have an objection why not take it up with the seller? Then he can put his case or explanation to you in his reply.
Best regards, John

It is the same way he mentions almost every camera in his description of lenses. Do a search for "Pentax LX" and half the hits are his. I use advanced search and specifically exclude him!

When he started this 'new' site on ebay he sold loads of items at 99p, thereby getting good initial feed back.Don't forget to factor in shipping.

I know because I got several manuals from him for just that price, I won't deal with him now though as his prices/ items are a little, er, out of touch.
Cheers, HG

A lot of these dealers know crafty tricks about getting feedback removed or they make very generous offers in exchange for positive feedback. I had a problem with a lens once and the dealer told me to keep the lens and he would do a full refund as long as I gave +ve feedback which I did...... did I get the refund..... no chance! Others take the transaction outside of ebay with excuses about it saving a lot of reports etc.
From one of the feedbacks (for a £154.99 lens) I notice that they send stuff by normal mail.
"I'm happy with lens. Packaging was poor, sent recorded deliv not SD. No back-cap"
I don't have a problem with that. The seller is responsible for delivery.
One of his negs is for a £195 camera described as Fully Serviced....
Not as described. Shutter damaged. Back loose. Refund requested......
so much for the servicing

It is good to hear criticism of emiliaarts.
I was trying, while doing something else and not concentrating, to bid for a 77 limited, which I should have bought for £520/50ish, but got it wrong and this character took it for £500.
It reappears two days later at offers from £669.99.
(new price here http://www.microglobe.co.uk/pentax-77mm-f18-black-finish-limited-edition-lens-p-...)
What can you say!

I'm not sure why you getting something wrong becomes a grievance, but please don't go too far with that on PU.
After someone has bought something, they can do with it whatever they like.

Sounds like you don`t concentrate a lot !!
I presume you meant you "sold" it for £500 as if you bought it he could hardly have sold it !
As John says - what we do with something we`ve bought is our affair - viz Antiques Roadshow " I got it for 50p at a car boot sale" when the valuer says £25000 as thet did recently with a Rene Lalique vase !!!
