There are updates to Lightroom and ACR than now support processing of K-1 RAW files. Hats off to Adobe and Pentax for getting their respective acts together so quickly

I just updated Lightroom on my 5K iMac and imported RAW files of my first play with the K-1 last night, I have to say that the image quality and sharpness of the K-1/FA77 combo are astonishing ! I had a play with pixel shift and just looking at the LR rendered RAW files from both shifted and non shifted versions, it's a proper WOW moment ! Viewing them on the 5K retina screen really highlights the difference.

This camera is just Awesome !

I checked and the K-1 is indeed now supported. Unfortunately not all the new lenses are. The D FA 24–70mm is but not the 70–200, 15–30 or 28–105mm (yet).

Quick edit: with supported I mean there is not a profile to correct distortion etc.

I saw somewhere that an update is available for non-subscriber Lightroom 6, but does anyone know how that is actually done?

I don't have the K1 but I've had an update go through for my non-subscriber Lightroom 6 this evening
