Thanks for that, I've decided to stay for the weekend now so planning to try and get a spot on the boat trip on Saturday. Hopefully get some interesting shots

Spent the day at Harlow Carr today with my parents, fantastic weather. Always have problems photographing gardens but got a few shots lol.

By the way - when I got back to the car park last night - I bumped in to somebody I had been talking to earlier - he told me that he had been watching Puffins as close as 15-20feet away for 3 hours from the 'grandstand' which I think is the platform in a direct line from the building - so if you get chance to go back - may be worth a look there.
