Just for fun, what are the 'cliche' shots

Seen on another forum, a large propensity of photos of old boots (usually a pair with one propped up on the other at a right angle).
As mentioned at the beginning of the thread, I think a competition is called for: Two submissions each with prizes for 'most original cliché' and 'most cliché'd cliché'.

Maybe the winners of the next weekly/monthly competition can use that as the brief

Maybe we should just take pictures of shoelaces then, or give up on photography all together, i'm only just learning long exposure

Soft lighting can help alot but seen so many bad examples where its just all wrong for the subject, and really just looks 'cliche'.
