Ive just purchased a secondhand k10 body, but being a newbie still learning all the functions.I managed to purchase a pentax 35-80 lens(£20)just so I could take some photos. Does anybody know of one lens that does all something like a 18-200 for a pentax? I will probably be back asking stupid questions in the near future,so please bear with me.

Depends how much you want to spend. There is a Sigma 18-250mm, Pentax 50-300mm, (PENTAX DA-L 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED LENS~DAL 50-300 mm.

Look at this link for a cheap starter which is not a bad lens: -

You will get plenty of suggestions from here I am sure.

Welcome Dave, and no question is stupid.

I don't have such a lens, but I do know what there are a number of manufacturers producing one including Tamron and Sigma.
